Local authors Leticia Agulair and Eve Quesnel will be joing us at Word After Word books on Saturday the 29th to celebrate Independent Bookstore Day! They will be here from 2:30pm-4:30pm signing their new book: Leaving Patriarchy Behind: One Woman's Journey, Leticia's memoir told in short vigettes that range from her childhood in Mexico to her time in Truckee.

Leticia Aguilar is the owner of a local preschool Recipient of awards from The Family Resource Center of Truckee, Soroptimist International of Truckee Donner, and Truckee Interclub. Eve Quesnel is a retired Sierra College English instructor and current co-editor of The Biosphere and Bioregion: Essential Writings of Peter Berg.
